Park-Forest Youth Basketball League (RPFYBL) 

 Two Communities. One League. One Goal. The RPFYBL is a recreational league for boys and girls in grade 1st-8th. In addition to emphasizing the fundamentals of the sport—passing, shooting, ball-handling and defense-- participants will learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Youth will be assigned to a team that will play in a minimum of 10 competitive games with standings being updated weekly. Most games are played on Saturday mornings/afternoon. Other participating communities may be included. All participants will receive a full uniform and basketball with awards being distributed at seasons end. Practices and game locations may vary. Spectator fee for games applies to all parents and guests. Once uniforms are ordered, no refunds will be given under any circumstance. Please ensure accuracy in child's uniform size when registering, as replacement uniforms will be issued at the parents expense ($60)

 

$50 due at registration for payment plans as well as a $10 payment plan processing fee.

Full Balance due by January 13,2023

No practice the week of December 19-23

Registration deadline is December 27th. Mandatory League Draft and Parents Meeting will take place Saturday December 3rd at the following times : 1st/2nd-11am-12:30pm, 3rd/4th-12:45pm-1:15pm, 5th/6th-1:30pm-3pm & 7th/8th-3:30pm-5pm. Volunteers are needed. If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact the us at 708-748-2005.

The RPFYBL follows all State of Illinois mandates with regards to COVID-19. Additional safety measures may also be in place throughout the season. Limited participants this season so register fast!

Bitty Ball LogoJust Ballin’ Itty Bitty League 
The Just Ballin' Itty Bitty League is an 8-week basketball league for youth grades Pre-K and Kindergarten (ages 4 & 5). This instructional program will teach your young hoop star the basics of the sport including dribbling, shooting and defensive principles (advanced principles will be used for advanced players) while allowing them to showcase what they’ve learned in a competitive setting. Players will start with practice sessions for the first 3 weeks, than move to a game format for the remainder of the program. Practice and games will take place on Sunday afternoons. 

Only 20 spots per time block for this program, so sign up early! 

Players will receive a full uniform (jersey and shorts).

Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a Korean style method of unarmed self-defense and sport. The Word Tae means leg (foot), Kwon means hand (or fist) and Do stands for the way of mental discipline to repel aggression. It is also an Olympic Sport. Taekwondo does not mean fighting, but it symbolizes the cultivation of a well-rounded character in its practitioners, through self-respect, indomitable spirit of discipline, coordination and control. Program is led by World Champion, Master Ben Effiok. No class July 4, 2022 and September 5, 2022 for the 5-6 pm class and the 6-7 pm class. 

Uniform is required at an additional fee of $65, due first day of class to the instructor (One-time fee. Fee subject to change).
