Farmers' Market coupons now available to eligible seniors

Main Street Market Senior Coupons

Dates have been announced for Farmers’ Market coupon pick-up at Village Hall. Eligible seniors over 60 residing in suburban Cook County may pick-up the coupons from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the board room on the following dates:

July 10
July 11
July 12
July 17
July 18
July 20

Additional requirements are as follows:

  • Must bring a picture id with current address
  • Must meet income eligibility guidelines
    • Income guidelines are based on 185% of the federal poverty guidelines during the current fiscal year
    • Income guidelines are also based on household size as well as income

Please note that no residents of Chicago or Will County are eligible for market coupons.

The Farmers' Market Nutrition Program is sponsored by the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

About the Main Street Market

Since 1974, the Park Forest Main Street Market - formerly the Park Forest Farmers’ Market - has been connecting area residents with local farmers, food vendors and businesses. The Market hosts 22 full spaces with a variety of fresh flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, bakery goods, herbs and dairy products. Local businesses are also on hand at the Market selling artwork, garden ornaments, jewelry and more.

The Market accepts EBT/Link, WIC, and Senior Nutrition Coupons.

The Market is open Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., May through October, for shopping, food, and entertainment.
