For over three decades, Freedom Hall has presented a multitude of concerts, theatre performances, comedy acts, and events in our Nathan Manilow Theatre. We have some amazing acts booked for our 2019-2020 season. Freedom Hall will kick off the season with Re-Imagine the Beatles as part of the matinee series on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, in our Nathan Manilow Theatre. Our main series kicks off on Friday, October 25, 2019, with Better Together presents the Jazz Soul of Al Jarreau. We hope you will join us for a show...or two...or three. Over the years, Freedom Hall's main series shows included top-notch acts such as Peter Mayer, Booker T, Billy Branch, Julie Fowlis, George Winston, and The Mystical Arts of Tibet. The Second City and Tom Dreesen have both appeared on our comedy stage. And world-renowned entertainers including Cherish the Ladies, The Four Aces and Obie Award winner Jason Petty performed at Freedom Hall's matinee series.

Nathan Manilow Theatre
Our newly designed 287 seat theatre is fully accessible to patrons in wheelchairs (limited handicapped seating available) and has been praised by performers and producers alike. The theatre is equipped with a professional sound system, complete theatrical lighting, a 12 foot electrically powered drop screen on stage, and an acoustical backdrop all of which makes the Nathan Manilow Theatre ideal for theatre groups, recitals, audio/visual presentations or lecture events.
Ralph G. Johnson Room
The carpeted Johnson Room is equipped with a large screen and has easy access to the service kitchen. The Johnson Room is perfect for all-day seminars, instructional programs or private events. The Johnson Room accommodates 60 people theatre style or with tables.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Room
The carpeted King Room also overlooks Central Park and is perfect for small meetings or planning groups requiring privacy and quiet solitude; connected to the Johnson Room and the service kitchen by a small hallway, the King Room works well as a discussion area when more than one room is required for an all-day event. The King Room can accommodate 15 people theatre style or with tables.
Art Activity Room
The Art Activity Room located off the backstage area serves as a green room as well as an arts and crafts area. The room accommodates 20 people theater style or 15 at tables, its easy access and close proximity to the stage offer a variety of benefits to those whose meeting requirements are unique.
